The Stooges 'Funhouse' LP

$52.00

Limited red / black split vinyl pressing.

‘Fun House’ is the second album from Iggy Pop’s The Stooges, released on Elektra Records in 1970. The producer, former keyboard player with the Kingsmen Don Gallucci, understood that the Stooges were a powerhouse live band, and tried to recreate the band’s live sets on record, resulting in a smeary and low-tech sound that delivers the energy and immediacy of a concert.  ‘Fun House’ developed a strong cult following and, being set in hard rock and improvisation, is generally considered as one of the fundamental records for the development of punk rock.
