Seen by many as the true successor to ÔNew Boots and Panties!!Õ, Mr. Love Pants was sadly to be the final studio album from Ian Dury before his death in 2000 but in a building of relations, it was also the first studio album with the Blockheads for 17 years and featured the remaining band Chaz Jankel, Norman Watt-Roy, John Turnbull, Micky Gallagher, Davey Payne and now Steven Monti on drums after the sad passing of Charley Charles.
